2. Your 14-Day Legal Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Law)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may cancel your order within:

  • 14 days of receiving your item, without providing any reason, and
  • 14 additional days to return the item.

We will refund:

  • The full purchase price, and
  • The standard delivery cost paid at checkout.

We will not refund:

  • Express or premium delivery upgrades
  • Return shipping for change-of-mind cancellations

3. 30-Day Store Return Policy (Our Guarantee)

We offer a 30-day return policy for most purchases.

To be eligible, items must be:

✔ With all accessories, manuals, and parts included

✔ Clean and in resaleable condition

Returns showing signs of use, damage, fuel/oil contamination (for petrol machinery), or missing parts may be declined or subject to deductions.


4. Items That Cannot Be Returned (Unless Faulty)

The following items are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or faulty:

  • Special-order or custom items
  • Used garden machinery containing fuel or oil
  • Items showing signs of misuse or improper assembly
  • Spare parts that have been installed or fitted
  • Consumables (e.g., spark plugs, oils, filters) once opened

5. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives:

Faulty/incorrect items are returned free of charge.

For large machinery, we may arrange courier collection.


6. Return Process (Step-by-Step)

Step 1 — Contact Us

Email returns@icugardenmachinery.com (or the main address) with:

  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (if damaged or faulty)

Step 2 — Receive RMA & Return Label

We will send:

  • RMA number (Return Authorisation)
  • Pre-paid return label (for eligible cases)
  • Collection details (for heavy machines)

Step 3 — Pack the Item

Please pack securely and include:

  • All accessories
  • Manuals
  • Original packaging (if possible)

Step 4 — Ship or Collection

Drop off the parcel using the provided label, or be available for courier pickup.

Step 5 — Inspection & Refund

Once received, returns are inspected within 2–5 business days.

Refunds are issued within 7 days after inspection.


7. Refund Method & Timelines

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
  • Banks may take 3–5 working days to post funds.
  • Returned items sent without authorisation may experience delays.

We do not issue refunds to:

✘ Alternative cards

✘ Cash

✘ Bank transfer (unless required by law)


8. Change of Mind Returns

Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days, but:

  • Items must be unused and in resaleable condition.
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless faulty.

We will deduct any loss in value if the item has been handled excessively.


9. Exchange Policy

You may exchange your item within 30 days if it is:

✔ Unused

✔ In original packaging

✔ Returned with all accessories

If the exchange item is higher in price, we will invoice the difference.

If lower, we will refund the difference.


10. Large Machinery Returns

For bulky items (e.g., petrol lawnmowers, chainsaws, pressure washers):

  • A courier collection will be arranged.
  • The machine must be drained of all fuel/oil before transport.
  • Non-compliance may result in refusal of return.
